About the Project
We have been engaged on multiple phases in UCL’s iconic 20 Bedford Way building, which achieved Listed status in 2000. The design brief sought a product with high sustainability credentials, allied to durability for multiple users in the education environment. Our solution centred on materials that had been independently verified to be designed as healthy and safe for both people and the environment, endorsed by Cradle-to-Cradle certification, alongside a 25 year warranty. We needed to work closely with the builders to ensure that disruption was not caused to live teaching areas while our team were drilling. Our attention to detail and commitment to finer details is shown in all exposed metalwork being powder coated to match the window framework.
